Our intent is to educate people in the under water environment and to provide the Scuba skills necessary to make diving a lifelong sport and hobby. We are based in the New York Metropolitan area and utilize several pools to conduct our courses.

We have been training divers for over 15 years. Our experience includes Northeast Wreck diving as well as many other specialties. We are affiliated with and base our instruction upon several different globally recognized training agencies including the NAUI, CMAS and TDI. Our belief is that the programs and standards adhered to by these agencies promote the best in the dive industry.

Learning to dive is very safe, however you need to be comfortable in the water. The entry level SCUBA course is affordable and requires a modest amount of training. The course normally runs six sessions; each session consisting of two hours in the classroom and two hours in the pool. At the end of the course, there are four required training dive and one skin dive conducted over the course of two days. These dives can either be conducted with Ocean Horizons Scuba or we can give you a letter of referral so that you may complete your dives by any other instructor worldwide.

Once you satisfactorily complete the training dives you will receive a internationally recognized certification card which will enable you to Scuba Dive anywhere in the world.
